unfortunate that he should have telegraphed out a state- ment in this form, and he agreed. I do not think much harm will be done as the government would not act on an ex parte statement by the Company in the face of our telegram on 26114, but, I think the action proposed on 26114 might stand and we might include with the reply proposed on that paper an acknowledgment of this letter and state that we are communicating with the Governor and will address the Company further in lue course.
